A Positive Point Reminder

Image
When I got my first apartment the day I moved in a woman was moving out and had two paintings, she stopped me on the way in and asked me if I wanted them. Since I didn't have many wall decorations I said yes.  I would find out later that one of the paintings was by an artist (Roberto Lupetti) who helped restore the Sistine Chapel and was trained by that group of painters. When I hung it opposite a sliding glass door I thought for a second that the reflection in the jug was of my studio apartment, it lined up perfectly. Of course, it was only for a second because I knew paint shouldn't be reflective.  I am still marveling over the detail of this painting, and the multiple complexities it displays. I always enjoy viewing it. It’s also an example of something I received all mine to keep just for being me with no strings attached. A positive point reminder that good things do happen in reality and that I can look forward to more.

Old Endings and New Beginnings

Image
It’s been quite the year for me, with many different endings and beginnings in all areas of my life, all of which have brought about increased clarity and satisfaction. One area of importance is where I am where I’ve been and where I‘m going according to this nine-year of completion. I feel myself moving forward according to my passions and preferences, not alone, but in a way that allows me to do so with others who are doing the same or are wanting to and wanting to know where to start.  I respect my path and preferences while respecting the path and preferences of all others with discernment. I now release the tug of war called “uncontrollable” and allow all others to learn their own lessons at their own pace along their own path.  I now control the only thing controllable by me (me), which includes the way I feel and what I choose to focus upon. -Sharonda M Thomas Leave a comment below if you’d like to learn more

Change of Seasons and the End of the Year

Image
I feel like writing today. It's definitely been a minute. With the change of seasons, end of the year, and retrograde happening a review and intent to move forward felt fitting.  I’ve been trying different hats concerning my business related to social media, websites, payment, and even based on what I think would be best for you. I want this experience to be seamless, smooth, and enjoyable.  I plan to launch fully sometime next year, depending on what is best. Right now I feel like going more into my process and following the retrograde rules, revising, resting (I certainly need this one), and more research when it feels right. So, keep an eye on this page for further updates regarding my offers. I appreciate your interest and happy holidays.

Positive Self-Reflection and Space

Image
It's the time of the year when things can feel overwhelming and not so positive. If this sounds familiar it's time to take a step back and get a broader view. Anchoring your positive points is a way to give yourself consistent positive self-support (the good kind of selfishness) and ensure your pitcher is full before you rush off to pour everyone a glass of assistance. You probably have more positive points than you realize bubbling beneath the surface of your consciousness, eager to be realized. You can start right now by giving yourself credit for taking the time to read this article today.  Give yourself positive points for the times you've practiced positive thinking in the past or for now if you're willing to give it a go for the first time. Incorporate finding more of your positive points into your life by giving yourself 30 minutes a day or a week if you feel strapped for time. If you have plenty of time and enjoy the activity you should delegate more.  Spend 15 ...

It's that Time Again!

Meet Your Guides During the Thinning of the Veil The Mystical Season of Change The autumn months on the wheel of the year bring a sense of change and reflection, inviting us to slow down and look inward as the year draws to a close. During this time, many believe the “veil” between the physical world and the spiritual realm becomes thin, making it easier to connect with non-physical energies, like spirit guides. This veil is said to be the thinnest during Samhain (or Halloween, October 31st), an ideal time to reach out to the spiritual world. As the seasons shift, you might feel a natural pull to explore within and reflect on the energies around you. For those who feel called to meet their guides, this is an especially powerful period to try connecting. Guides can offer valuable insights and positive support along your life’s journey, often providing guidance in ways that feel both meaningful and deeply personal. Whether you’re new to the idea of spirit guides or have felt their ...
