I Am Impressed…

Image
A few days ago, I found out about the release of Megadeth's new album, which comes in all formats with several different designs to choose from. Exciting, I thought, which one should I choose? Then they went one further and released this super awesome limited magma edition vinyl, which I think may not be available anymore, but I definitely want that one. It feels so right on so many levels.  I love everything about this release, the Vic on fire yet still moving forward videos, the Tipping Point video and song, which hit over a million in a few days. I haven't been this excited about an album release in quite some time.  I feel like Nubbler from the Seahorse episode of Metalocalypse. It all rocks!!! Check it out! Check it!  Thanks for helping me move into excitement and enthusiasm this year, well done, guys, and marketing. It’s a nice positive point for me.  https://www.megadeth.com/blogs/news/magma-filled-vinyl-available-now https://share.google/b0AZUkHHGPAEFs...

I logged into YouTube a few days ago and found out one of my favorite bands is set to call it quits soon.  For 20+ years (for me anyway), Megadeth has been my go-to for processing rage, anger, and just absolute awe when it comes to complex and intricate guitar playing that only Dave can pull off. NTM some of the absolute best driving music, when there is a need for speed. And of course I'll always love the lyrics. I am not sure what caused this, but I am happy to see Dave doing it his way and on his own terms (of course, I expect nothing else). The whole my way theme has been repeating in synchronistic ways throughout my own life this week, reminding me of the positive points of self-direction and agency.  Lots of surprises, like hearing Vic speak a cryptic farewell. It will definitely be something a mind like mine can mull over. The new artwork is an amazing dichotomy. I feel like there is more… I am looking forward to the upcoming tour; no better reason to get out and ...
