I logged into YouTube a few days ago and found out one of my favorite bands is set to call it quits soon.  For 20+ years (for me anyway), Megadeth has been my go-to for processing rage, anger, and just absolute awe when it comes to complex and intricate guitar playing that only Dave can pull off. NTM some of the absolute best driving music, when there is a need for speed. And of course I'll always love the lyrics. I am not sure what caused this, but I am happy to see Dave doing it his way and on his own terms (of course, I expect nothing else). The whole my way theme has been repeating in synchronistic ways throughout my own life this week, reminding me of the positive points of self-direction and agency.  Lots of surprises, like hearing Vic speak a cryptic farewell. I recently listened to an audiobook that ignited me into action around voicing my desires, especially as they relate to business and fundraising. Of course, like everything, I took a non-traditional approach after I got warmed up.  My first step consisted of asking for a dollar as a show of faith and funding from someone who believed in me and my success. With that task successfully completed and the momentum of elated gain running through my veins, I thought, why not ask for $888 for a lucky dollar with 888 printed on it? After all, after receiving that dollar, I was printed in my very first publication. So why the fuck not right? Invest in Positivity My point is, I learned something very important.
